Once you set up your Dropcam, you can watch it from anywhere using any Flash-compatible browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer (7.0, 8.0), Mozilla Firefox (3.0+), Apple Safari (3.0+), and Google Chrome (1.0+).
Your Dropcams are listed on the left side of the Dropcam Viewer. When you buy multiple Dropcams, they will appear here, as will any Dropcams shared by your friends and family.
A Dropcam provides live DVR functionality - the video is recorded at all times while the camera is powered and connected to the Internet. The Dropcam Viewer provides an easy-to-use timeline at the bottom of the window that provides access to the previous week of recorded footage.
Dropcams can detect events such as sudden motion in the video. These events are displayed on the timeline along with a picture of the video at that time.
Because your Dropcam video is private and personal, it is only visible to you. If you wish to share it with friends, family, or work colleague, simply send them an invitation! A secure personal link is sent to them, and they can then watch the video with their own account.
What if you decide to no longer share with someone? Restricting access is as simple as clicking Block!
